How To Place An Order

Click here to email your order to us and include all information from the following check list:

  1. Choose your Pen or Promotional Product.
  2. Choose your Pen or Product colour or combination of colours where mix and match is available.
  3. Choose the quantity you want to order (minimums may apply – Click here).
  4. Choose your print colour/colours (supply PMS colour/colours if available). Note; it is better to print dark onto a light product as opposed to light colours onto dark products – often not successful.
  5. Choose the refill colour for your Pens – if other than standard colour required. Note; to change the refill colour from standard to not standard option there will be a charge for the time taken plus the cost of the extra refill.
  6. Type the required print copy.
  7. Do if you want a logo added? If yes, please attach the logo file to your email and say where you want it printed. Note: Please click here for specifications regarding artwork.
  8. Ensure your required print will fit into the allowable area. Click here for more information on print areas.
  9. Confirm the delivery date you require and if the order is required for a special event.
  10. Include any other special instructions.
  11. Include your order number if applicable.
  12. Confirm all contact details: charge address (with post code), delivery address, phone number, fax number, mobile number, email address, contact person’s name.


Minimum Order Quantities
There is a minimum order quantity for most products. Generally the more expensive the product is, the smaller the minimum. Please check when you place your order.

For pens a rule of thumb is; plastic pens minimum is 250 and metal pens is 100.

We can accommodate smaller quantities however a unit price upcharge may apply for very small quantities.

Unit prices in most cases go down with increased quantities.

Print Areas
For PenTrends Pens print areas you will need to view the online catalogue (in E Book form) which will show at the left side of the PenTrends website. Note; it is a pop up so you will have to allow pop ups from this site to view the catalogue. This is a safe site from which to allow pop ups.

For PromoShop products, the print areas are show with each product under their specifications when you click to view the product.

Artwork
Artwork should be supplied in one of the following formats: EPS, CDR, FH, AI or PDF. However the files need to be original and not converted from a JPG, bitmap, Word or PhotoShop. The text would need to be converted to curves/paths/outlines.

JPG’s, Word Documents, Bitmaps, PhotoShop files are not suitable as artwork.

However if you only have a jpg, Word or PhotoShop file of your logo, we can redraw it for you into vector format. The charge for this will be approx. $25 to $30 or will be quoted at the time of order if the logo is very complicated.

The added benefit for recreating your logo into vector format is that you will then have it on file for other print or signage applications without cost penalty.

Setup Costs
The setup cost covers a small amount of artwork time in creating finished art to suit the product you want printed. Plus it covers the setting up of the printing machine to be able to print your product.

There will be a new setup charged for new orders or new products to be printed or if the required print from a previous order is changed.

For repeat orders without changes, a cheaper repeat setup cost is charged.

If substantial artwork is required for your setup there may be an added charge for this artwork.

There will be a setup charged per print colour except for digital print.

Freight
Freight will always be shown separately for the purpose of transparency.

Generally allow 2 working days for delivery. Overnight freight is possible but may be more expensive.

GST
All prices quoted are exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

General
When we receive your order we will check we have all the necessary information to produce your order.

We will check stock availability.

We will confirm all the above back to you as well as the price for your product  plus the setup and any artwork costs if applicable.

Your order will then be processed and a print proof will be sent by email. Please check the proof very carefully as once this is approved and returned your order will proceed to production as correct.

We will not be held liable for any errors in the production process where a proof has been approved as correct.

Once the proof is signed off, delivery should be approx. 10 to 12 days depending on machine loadings at the time.

About Challenge Marketing
